The first thing I thought was "What's she thinking about?" This piece inspires thought - not just because she's thinking, but because it has a healthy amount of mystery and poetry in it to spark such thought. Here's one more "Color it!" vote. Excellent work!
Over the past few days I looked at this a number of times. This one is super special for some reason. My first reaction was, "beautiful" - but it took some time to become entranced. The more I looked at it the more I wanted to know the story behind it. Certainly it is beautiful, but now it is intriguing... I want to know more.
Well done... awesome awesome piece! One of my favorites!!!
I saw this on tumblr and I have to tell you this really reminds me of a character from a web comic I follow, right down to which limbs were replaced and if it's not Kim Ross you should look up Dresden Codak to learn about her.
this is awesome!, that looks a lot like a exosuit she is wearing......nice touch with the detail of here running around in it in her undies. also that wire system looks like a device that reads the electronic pluses from her brain which travels in her spinal column and the machine gathers the info and executes the orders given...right?
i love the grey scale. the sketchy feel/ i love how the light draws you to her back. the expressionism in the piece to me is awesome. because of the less defined lines it makes you ponder what she is thinking about the socity shes in. the mechanical suit. i like it unrefined... i somehow think color would change the piece from what it is... although i think it could make it feel like a blade runner time. 5th element. i know its not a true critique but i want to say thank you for sharing this. i really love it.
I really like the impressionistic linework here - at the same time, there is just enough clarity for nothing to look too smudged. The greyscale just adds to the mood. The pose also seems to suggest a story - makes me wonder, what is she thinking, seeing, and how's the weather. Great work!
This is wonderful. I looked at the work without seeing the title and I said 'recharge' in my head, only to find out that's the exact title. Her pose is very well done, and I love the sketchiness. I'm not sure if I'd even want you to 'finish' it, if you know what I mean.
