This took a lot of skill my friend! The action, the fluid motion, the color palate, the picture itself, like the monster you're portraying, is a force to be reckoned with!
The anatomy in this picture is spot on, and the detail is exquisite. I really like the saliva in the creature's mouth, it is very detailed and realistic looking! I also like the guy that he ripped in half in the background >D Maybe this is why the spear thrower looks so nervous.
another thing that I really like in this picture is the entire scene itself! I'm a big war-scene fanatic myself, and you did a wonderful job portraying it!
I cannot express with words just how amazing this picture truly is , the action, the feeling, the emotion, the detail, just all in all - wow.
Though I do have some suggestions, the spear thrower looks much more prominent than the other warriors in this picture, also more realistic, and with sharper lines. Even more so than the monster. I know it is probably because he's an important figure in this picture, and it's good to have him stand out, but maybe try to even it out a little with the other men, maybe make them a little more defined and realistic as well Also, behind the creature the figures look the least defined and almost unfinished, though impressionism is a good style of art as well and maybe you were going for the impression of the men in the background, either way it's still very good
Also, one more suggestion, I can't find a signature anywhere on your picture. Maybe it's hidden really well in there and I'm just not seeing it, but if you didn't sign it, I'd suggest doing so. You want to make sure to protect artworks as magnificent as this
I'm giving the originality 3.5 stars because war scenes with giant beasts have been done. That doesn't mean we should cease to draw them though! Almost all art pieces have been done before!
I'm giving impact five stars because of the immense action and activity going on in this picture. Also, the giant beast and the fearful expression of the spear thrower gives the piece more feeling, like adrenaline, fear and hopelessness all mashed into one! I can picture this playing out like a movie in my head.
This piece is truly stunning and amazing. Keep up the good work!
